Pistols and Pistons Poker Shoot
1st: Silver Individual Range Membership
2nd: Individual Monthly Membership
3rd: Five Pass Range Card
Each contestant must check in at the registration table on the day of the event. Check in will start at 8:30am. Shooting will be from 9am to 10am.
This event will be fired with a handgun of any caliber at 25 foot.
Each contestant will be allowed seven (7) shots at their target which will have 52 playing cards. You will be shooting at the back of the cards and will not be allowed to see cards prior to shooting.
The event will be based on the scoring of 5-card stud poker. The poker hand will be determined by the official poker rules according to Hoyle. Best hand wins..
If the bullet hole breaks the card line it will count for that card. If there is more than one bullet hole in the same card only the first hole will count. Make sure you try to shoot seven different cards for your best chance to win.
All contestants must wear ear and eye protection for the event.
After the contestant fires all seven shots, the judge will inspect the target to determine the poker hand. The results of the poker hand will be recorded and the winning hands will be announced. The judge’s decision is final.
