Basic Handguns 101

This introductory course into firearms teaches the necessary basic skills with a handgun. It is intended for the individual unfamiliar with firearm procedures, or those who need to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills. Individuals will exercise these skills in a variety of situations and drills, quickly gaining experience and confidence while increasing their overall skill level with their handgun.

Registration fee $85.00

Fee includes training and range time.
Firearm rentals are not included in above fee but are available.
You must be 21years of age or older to register for this course.

2 hours of classroom and 2 hours of range training include:
FIREARM SAFETY
FUNDAMENTALS OF SHOOTING
GRIP & STANCES
PISTOL PRESENTATION
FIRING TECHNIQUES
RELOADING & MALFUCTIONS
SHOOTING QUALIFICATIONS

*This class requires your own or rented firearm, wrap around eye protection, ear protection and 200 rounds of your own ammunition.

*Please be sure to wear comfortable clothing on the range that will provide protection from any ejected brass.

All firearms are subject to a safety inspection prior to live fire exercises.

Classes and space are limited to 10 students per class, so register early!
